Tskit keynote talk
Wilder Wohns, developer of tsdate and author of A unified genealogy of modern and ancient genomes presents the invited talk on “The ARG revolution in population and statistical genetics” (video here), detailing recent advances in the use of inferred tree sequences for population genetics and statistical genetics, as part of the online SMBE Everywhere symposium: Using Ancestral Recombination Graphs (ARGs) to Infer Evolutionary Processes.
Also presented at the same symposium, a poster by Yan Wong detailing the connection between different types of ancestral recombination graphs (ARGs) and tskit: “Efficient storage and analysis of ARGs using the tree sequence format” (online poster here).
See here for more details of the symposium on Sept 30th 2022, 10am EDT.
